New chat room event

Subject: New chat room event
Hi there,
I would like to know if there is any event that I can register to that will let me know when a new chat room was created or removed from the server ?
I am using the Openfire server and connect to it using agsXMPP.

XMPP does not include such a feature by default.

You can get the list of available rooms with Service Discovery. You can request the list periodically and compare it.
You could also write a small server plugin for Openfire which notifies a list of Jids for new and removed rooms. Or publish the list in a pubsub node which would include the feature of notification to the subscribers.
