Subject: Silverlight Muc client
In the last days I was working on MUC extensions for MatriX.
If you have the Silverlight Browser plugin installed you can test the Silverlight MUC client here:
http://matrix.ag-software.de/silverlight_muc.html

I will add more MUC features to MatriX and the client, and make a new release of MatriX soon. Feedback is welcome.

Hello Alex,

I tried your link but it's not work for me.
After I enter nickname I can see three conference rooms and red ball button. Anything else?
I run Firefox 3.0.6 with installed Silverlight.

the button must be green, otherwise you are not connected.
Do you have Silverlight 2 installed?
Are outgoing ports blocked in your firewall? Outgoing port 4503 is used by this example.

Yes, this is firewall issue. Could you setup for port 80 or 443?

no, I have no plans to change the setup. You also need another open port to check the policy.
Talk to your admin to open the ports in the firewall.

Hi Alex,

Does current mattrix dll is able to create or join chat room.
If yes, do we have a sample code to join/invite someone to chat room.

yes it does, you can se it in action here:

the version with Muc is not released yet, but its stable und you can request the new version and an example by email from us. There should be a new release with Muc in the next days.

Recent days, does something wrong with the sample on http://matrix.ag-software.de/Silverlight_Muc.html?

i have tried many times and many places, but the room can`t be connected. the sample always show the red button and without any error indication...

the policy server was not running. I restarted it. Should work again.
